Our team has significant experience of acting for scheme promoters – as well as other interested and statutory parties – on all scales of development. From major infrastructure to use of statutory permitted development rights to unlock significant infrastructure, we are actively working on major onshore wind and solar farm projects, ports and highways proposals.

We support clients from project inception right through to delivery and beyond on all aspects of project development. We are advising on some of the largest energy and infrastructure projects in the UK. We are acting for promoters of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) and we have a leading Developments of National Significance (DNS) practice.

We are also advising extensively on the new regime being introduced to Wales under the Infrastructure (Wales) Act 2024 (which will replace the DNS regime and require an Infrastructure Consent Order (ICO) for a Significant Infrastructure Project (SIP)). We are also acting on schemes requiring consent under the Transport and Works Act, harbour empowerment & revision orders and marine licenses.
