HR professionals roundtable breakfast

18th Sep 2024 - 25th Sep 2024 - 08:15 AM

Join us for an autumn roundtable breakfast led by James Collings and Kyle Klesniks from our employment team. The sessions will cover the dual topics of the Labour government's proposals for employment law reform and the issues connected to neurodiversity in the workplace.

Our first event will be held at the National Marine Aquarium on 18 September, with the unique experience of enjoying breakfast next to the sharks. Our Cornwall-based breakfast will be hosted at Bodmin Jail on 25 September in a unique, repurposed dining space. There will also be opportunity to network over breakfast with industry peers and professionals in the local community.

Both sessions will explore:

  • Potential advantages that neurodiversity can bring to the workplace
  • Effective and compliant recruitment and hiring processes
  • Aspects to consider in connection with potential adoption of a form of neurodiversity/neurominority policy within an organisation
  • Effective management of neurodiverse people (including around misconduct linked to neurodivergence etc)
  • Adaptations and reasonable adjustments to the workplace and processes
  • The Labour government's proposals for wide-ranging changes to employment law and what these are likely to mean for employers in practice
