Ashfords appoints new partner to grow tax offer for clients

UK law firm Ashfords has appointed Tax Partner John Pindard as it looks to build further its tax advisory offer for organisations and private clients.

John advises clients on corporate tax matters across M&A, restructurings and reorganisations as well as supporting entrepreneurs on the tax implications of their investments, acquisitions and disposals.  He also advises on property tax matters across VAT, SDLT and taxes arising from property acquisitions, disposals and leases.

John worked for HMRC for 11 years in a number of technical advisory roles before becoming a solicitor. He joins Ashfords from Foot Anstey where he led the corporate tax team.
