Ashfords has won Large Employer of the Year at the Exeter College Apprentice & Employer Awards 2023. Paige Baker, business administrator apprentice, also won the Apprentice of the Year award, under the Professional Services and Accountancy category.
The Exeter College Apprenticeship Awards honours those that have shown an excellent commitment to their Apprenticeships, and the employers that have gone above and beyond to support these individuals.
Ashfords has offered apprenticeships for the last seven years, with many of the apprentices continuing to progress their careers at the firm. Winning two awards is a huge testament to the firm's commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive working environment to people who demonstrate the potential to be a real future asset to the business.
Paige Baker's Apprentice of the Year award is evidence of the hard work she has put in throughout her apprenticeship at Ashfords. Paige started her apprenticeship with Ashfords in September 2021and works within the firm's commercial team.
Upon completing her apprenticeship, Paige will continue her career with Ashfords as a trainee legal support assistant.
