Trainee Solicitor
Amelia is a trainee solicitor in the employment team, working on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, assisting both claimants and respondents in bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunals.
Amelia spent the first six months of her training contract in the corporate team, assisting with advising on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, private equity investments and company reorganisations. Her second seat was in in the banking and finance team, assisting lenders and borrowers on general finance, corporate and acquisition finance, and real estate finance transactions.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Amelia worked in business and innovation consultancy, specialising in non-dilutive finance. Amelia holds a BA in Geography from the University of Nottingham, and the Post-Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from the University of Law.
