Biography

Amy is a solicitor in the employment team. 

Amy joined Ashfords in February 2022 as a paralegal in the employment team. 

Amy is experienced in representing and defending clients in relation to claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract, and trade union detriment. Amy is also experienced in preparing and advising clients in relation to non-contentious matters, such as drafting staff handbooks, policies and employment contracts. 

As part of her training contract, Amy undertook seats in employment and corporate. In her corporate seat, Amy spent six months assisting with M&A transactions, investment rounds, company reorganisations, and company due-diligence. 

Prior to joining Ashfords, Amy worked for an international law firm running her own fixed-fee caseload of professional negligence matters. Amy also worked for a national law firm in the employers’ and public liability team dealing with complex multi-track claims.

Amy graduated from the University of Exeter in 2019 having studied Law and graduated from BPP University with a Masters of Law in 2021.
