Biography
Anna is a Legal Director in the Banking & Finance team.
Anna advises borrower and lender clients on all aspects of banking and finance transactions, including larger corporate borrowers, national and offshore banks and alternative lenders. Anna has experience in bilateral and syndicated finance, finance as part of corporate/investment transactions, development finance, real estate investment finance, energy finance, advising private wealth clients on finance matters and healthcare.
In addition, Anna has significant experience of restructuring and insolvency transactions, advising both insolvency practitioners and buyers on insolvent business and asset sales or distressed mergers and acquisitions.
Anna has been recognised in Chambers and Legal 500.
Relevant experience
- Advising a national brewing and hospitality business on their finance requirements including, most recently, the negotiation of £105+ million revolving credit and CLBILS revolving credit facilities.
- Working with a new entrant to the agricultural finance market to develop its pro forma documentation for term loan, credit account, livestock rearing and milk cheque finance facilities, together with the suite of supporting security documentation.
- Advising on the refinance of an £18 million real estate finance facility an offshore real estate investment business structured through holdings in Jersey and the British Virgin Islands, with the ultimate beneficial owner in the Middle East.
- Advising a quintessentially British and nationally renowned homeware and lifestyle business on the finance aspects of its £8 million investment by BGF and £2.5 million bank lending.
- Acting for a Community Interest energy Company in connection with its £3.5 million bank funding alongside a matched bond fundraiser.
- Advising a range of UK and international High and Ultra High Net Worth on their personal and professional financial arrangements, including investments meeting the requirements of the Business Investment Relief Scheme and financial arrangements in connection with a high-value divorce.
