Ashfords lawyers’ expertise recognised in Chambers Guide 2025

The number of Ashfords lawyers recognised for their expertise in the Chambers Guide 2025 has increased by over 20% to 50. 

Forty-four partners were ranked (Bands 1 to 5) with four ‘Associates to Watch’ and three ‘Up and Coming’. Those who moved up the rankings this year include IP partners Carl Steele and Clare Jackman, private wealth partners Kerry Morgan-Gould and Barny Croft, construction partners Mark Manning and Laura Reeve, employment partner James Collings, real estate partner Robin De Wreede, restructuring & insolvency partner Melissa George and banking & finance partner Ed Hobbs. Property litigation senior associate Sophie Michaelides was newly recognised in the ‘Associates to Watch’ category. 

Ashfords also received Band 1 rankings for its charities (legacy disputes), construction, corporate M&A, private wealth, private wealth disputessocial housing, and sport (horse racing and equestrian) teams.
